Data Analyst (Media Insights & Planning Manager)
Location: Angel Building, 407 St John Street, London, EC1V 4EX
Contract: 12 Months
Pay rate: 300GBP/day PAYE
About the Role
Client is looking for a data-driven, commercially minded insights leader to join our Media Insights & Planning (MIP) team.
In this role, you’ll sit at the intersection of data, digital media, and revenue strategy — helping global hotel and travel partners design smarter, more impactful advertising campaigns using first- and third-party data.
If you enjoy turning complex datasets into clear business stories, partnering with Sales teams, and influencing revenue growth, this could be a strong fit.
What You’ll Be Doing
Translate traveler booking, search, and industry data into actionable advertising strategies
Provide strategic campaign planning support to global hotel and travel partners
Partner closely with Sales teams to strengthen advertising pitches and drive revenue growth
Present data insights in partner-facing meetings to influence campaign decisions
Support quarterly and annual revenue targets through data-backed recommendations
Collaborate cross-functionally with Analytics, Yield, Product, Strategy, and Operations
Help innovate and automate reporting tools, dashboards, and internal processes
Stay ahead of trends in travel, ecommerce, digital advertising, and AI
What We’re Looking For
Required Experience
3–5+ years in ecommerce, digital marketing, ad tech, business consulting, or travel/OTA environments
Experience working in a data-driven culture where insights influence business decisions
Strong storytelling skills — ability to turn data into clear commercial narratives
Experience collaborating with Sales or revenue teams
Comfortable in fast-paced, cross-functional environments
Technical Skills
Hands-on experience with Looker and/or Tableau
Experience with Google Analytics (or similar analytics tools)
Familiarity with digital advertising metrics and campaign performance analysis
Nice to Have
SQL and/or Power BI knowledge
Experience with Omniture, GWI, Sprinklr, XM Discover (sentiment analysis)
Travel industry or OTA experience
Spanish language skills
