About the Role
We are looking for a Growth Manager to lead Nikura’s most ambitious commercial projects. This role sits at the intersection of strategy and execution, focusing on one primary goal: driving profitable revenue. You’ll collaborate closely with functional leads, turning ideas into results and ensuring every initiative is tied to bottom-line profit.
This role is best suited to a commercial operator, not a performance marketer. If you thrive on deep-diving into data to find "hidden" growth opportunities - whether that’s doubling down on retention, improving AOV, or scaling organic share - you will have the autonomy to make a massive impact here. You will own the entire growth loop: from the initial hypothesis to the final, profit-driving result.
About Nikura
Nikura is the UK’s leading aromatherapy ecommerce brand. Founded in 2016, our mission is to promote relaxation and wellbeing in the home with our pure and natural essential oils, premium fragrance oils and waterless diffusers.
Since the brand's inception, Nikura has brought high quality oils and scents to millions of customers, ranging from aromatherapy users, beauty enthusiasts, and SMEs making candles and soaps. Today, Nikura is on a fast growth trajectory, driven by exceptional product quality, a first-class customer experience, and competitive market positioning.
Ideal Profile
We are looking for a tenacious commercial operator with a strategic mindset and a passion for solving complex problems. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and excel at owning cross-functional initiatives with rigour and speed. Your organisational and communication skills allow you to influence other specialists and translate commercial goals into high impact actions.
Your responsibilities
Orchestrate a diverse portfolio of growth initiatives from brief to live: new offers, pricing, merchandising, shipping, conversion rate optimisation, and product launches.
Lead continuous improvement of our core ecommerce growth levers, running structured experiments at each stage of the customer journey to ensure we are maximising every marginal gain.
Use data insights to generate clear growth opportunities and profitability improvements before they become obvious.
Serve as a commercial driver alongside the Head of Growth and CEO, surfacing insights and trends and providing hands-on problem-solving support.
Example growth projects you could be working on:
Retention: build and optimise specific customer journeys to maximise LTV, from onboarding to VIP and win-back.
Promotions: define the discount architecture and bundling strategy to drive volume without eroding margin.
Pricing: lead the end to end strategy for pricing, working with partners like Intelligems to ensure changes are both competitive and profitable.
AOV: use merchandising, UX optimisation, checkout performance, and structured experimentation to drive larger, more profitable baskets.
Referral: own our refer-a-friend programme, optimising the incentive structure and measurement framework to turn customers into a new acquisition channel.
Who You Will Work With
Working closely with the Head of Growth and CEO, you will have an incredible opportunity to influence the strategy of a fast-growing online business.
You will be part of a small, friendly and highly-motivated team, working closely with our Senior Ecommerce and Senior CRM managers to design and execute across a diverse number of revenue-driving initiatives.
Qualifications
3-5 years experience advising and executing growth projects in a fast-growing ecommerce company.
Demonstrated ability to drive successful completion of cross-functional growth initiatives, delivering substantive profit impact.
Advanced level understanding of commercial topics relevant to ecommerce, including contribution margin, CAC/LTV, pricing, and website monetization.
Open, flexible and proactive attitude. Highly detail oriented and enthusiastic about working in a small, agile team.
Salary & Benefits
Highly competitive salary commensurate with skills and experience.
Flexible working arrangements: office based 3 days per week.
Office located in North London, Zone 3.
