About the Role

As a Sales Engineer, you will maintain the existing customers and develop sales through the search for new customers.

Your focus will be mainly the South-West of France, including the Nouvelle-Aquitaine and parts of Occitanie and Centre-Val de Loire regions.

Main responsibilities include:

Developping a growth strategy focused on customer satisfaction
Conducting research to identify new markets and potential customers’ needs
Methodic research of new prospective clients
Arranging business meetings with prospective clients
Promoting the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
Preparing sales proposals and sales contracts ensuring adherence to rules and guidelines
Keeping records of sales, revenue, payments etc.
Collecting and document competitive intelligence
Providing feedback and after-sales support
Building long-term relationships with new and existing customers.

This position is fully-remote based.

What You Need to Be Successful

At least 5 years of proven working experience in a technical/sales role, ideally in a similar sector
Proven track record selling complex enterprise solutions with the adoption of up-selling and cross-selling approaches will be considered as a prior requirement
Communication and negotiation skills; ability to build solid business relationships
Fluency in French and English is mandatory
Willing to travel on a frequent basis in southwestern France and according to the project needs abroad
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce).
