Focus Systems is supporting an organization based in Regina, Saskatchewan in hiring an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of multiple IT initiatives.

This role is ideal for a project management professional with strong experience delivering enterprise IT projects, managing vendors, and leading cross-functional teams in complex environments.

• Location: Onsite in Regina, SK

• Contract Term: Initial 1-year contract

• Extensions: Up to two (2) additional one-year renewals

Role Overview

The Project Manager will lead the implementation and delivery of IT projects while ensuring adherence to enterprise project management standards and best practices. Reporting functionally to the Director of the Enterprise Project Management Office, the successful candidate will collaborate closely with business units, IT teams, and organizational change management resources to deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead full project lifecycle delivery including scope, schedule, cost, and deliverables

• Develop and manage project plans, budgets, timelines, and reporting processes

• Manage risks, issues, and change control processes

• Collaborate with business units, IT teams, and OCM partners to ensure project alignment

• Assign roles and responsibilities and oversee project deliverables

• Manage external vendors and third-party solution providers

• Track project benefits and ensure expected outcomes are achieved

• Provide regular project updates and escalate issues when required

• Ensure projects follow enterprise standards, governance, and best practices

• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and records

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of IT project management experience managing multiple concurrent projects

• Project Management certification or education (PMP preferred)

• 7+ years of vendor management experience

• 7+ years managing cross-functional project teams

• Experience delivering projects using predictive, Agile, and hybrid methodologies

• Strong experience with project planning, budgeting, and resource management

• Proficiency with project management software and reporting tools

• Strong written communication and project documentation skills

• Excellent stakeholder engagement and leadership skills

• Experience leading SaaS or cloud solution implementations is an asset
