The Opportunity

Bitdefender is hiring a Sales Engineer to join our UK & Ireland Sales Engineering team, part of the EMEA & SEA SE organization. This is a customer-facing technical role where you’ll own the technical aspects of opportunities, acting as a trusted security advisor to customers and partners.

What You’ll Do

Own the technical side of sales opportunities, from discovery through validation
Deliver product demos, technical deep dives, and Proof of Concepts
Advise customers on how Bitdefender solutions address security, risk, and compliance challenges across on-prem and cloud environments
Lead technical discussions, solution design, and validation activities
Support RFPs, RFIs, and security questionnaires
Build strong technical relationships with customers and partners
Deliver partner technical training and enablement sessions
Engage with internal teams (Sales, Product, R&D) to support customer success
Participate in industry events and partner activities

What You Bring

2–3+ years’ experience in security pre-sales / sales engineering
Hands-on knowledge of Endpoint Security, EDR/XDR, SIEM, Email Security, and Threat Intelligence
Experience securing and supporting Windows, Linux, and macOS environments
Strong understanding of cloud platforms and security concepts (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP)
Knowledge of risk management, compliance frameworks (e.g. ISO, NIST, GDPR, DORA, NIS2), and security governance
Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Microsoft, Nutanix)
Familiarity with containers (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
Excellent English communication skills
Customer-focused, collaborative, and technically curious
Willingness to travel (~50%)
