As a part of our continued growth, we are looking for a Research Analyst to join our business on a permanent contract. Gathering data is at the heart of what we do, and our systems are optimised around your role. You will be fully trained in how to carry out this work.

We are looking for enthusiastic and hardworking individuals with a strong positive attitude who want to become a part of an exciting, growing start-up. This role will be focused primarily on our fundraising and investor dataset, which tracks all private UK fundraising events and records who is involved.

Responsibilities include

Curating, updating and maintaining our fundraising dataset using our proprietary software
Sourcing fundraising news
Recording Investor activity
Curating, investigating and eliminating errors in our investor dataset
Collaborating with a team of analysts

Qualifications

This role best suits someone with most of the following:

Degree (financial or scientific discipline preferred)
Detail-oriented
Can work well independently and as part of a team
Interested in corporate finance, data platforms

Benefits, Compensation and Working Situation

Starting salary £25.5k - £26.3k p.a.
Data incentive of up to 10% per month dependent on team quality
Based in central Edinburgh (CodeBase)/Remote
Supported through ICAEW/CISI Certificate in Corporate Finance
37.5 hours a week
34 days annual paid holiday (including bank holidays)
Private health insurance (Vitality).
