Job Title: Data Engineer With Banking Exp

Work Location : greater toronto area ,Canada

Contract duration: 12 months

Requirements:

• Lead Developer + Architect with 10+ years of exp.

• This person will be a SPOC for the whole Pod. Need to come with that level of maturity. This person is replacing a client FTE Sr. Development Manager.

• Proficiency in ETL development and data warehousing concepts.

• Strong programming skills in Python, Spark , Scala , SQL

• Experience with Azure Databricks , Airflow , ADF

• Banking domain experience is needed – Payments / Transaction systems / AML / core banking. All or some combination will be needed. Minimum 1.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with data visualization tools and reporting – Power BI

• Knowledge of machine learning workflows and MLOps.

• Understanding of data governance and compliance regulations
