Job Summary

Our client is seeking a ServiceNow Platform Administrator to join their Space Ground Systems Engineering team.

location: Scottsdale, Arizona

job type: Contract to Perm

salary: $68 - 72 per hour

work hours: 9am to 5pm

Responsibilities

The ServiceNow Platform Administrator serves as the technical lead responsible for the health, performance, and operational integrity the ServiceNow instance. This role requires deep expertise in ServiceNow architecture, system administration, and security protocols specific to air-gapped networks.

Key Responsibilities

Manage platform upgrades and patch deployments following strict change control procedures
Configure and maintain system properties, email, integrations, scheduled jobs, and platform security settings
Implement and enforce access controls, user roles, and authentication mechanisms compliant with security policies
Monitor system performance, capacity, and availability metrics; proactively address bottlenecks and issues
Develop and maintain platform documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures
Lead incident response for platform-level issues and participate in change advisory board (CAB) processes
Provide technical guidance and training to other team members and end users
Maintain compliance with federal security standards including NIST, FedRAMP, or DoD requirements as applicable

Required Qualifications:

ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) required
5+ years ServiceNow platform administration experience
Experience with air-gapped or classified networks strongly preferred
Requires current government clearance
Strong understanding of ITIL processes and IT service management principles

Our Commitment to You:

Qualifications

Education:

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.
