NV are urgently looking for a Finance/Treasury systems developer for a long term contract role in Paris.

Candidates must speak fluent English and be happy working onsite in Paris

Position Overview:
We are looking for a technical profile, ideally a developer willing to evolve to a position involving less coding and more configuration of expert tools in Finance/Treasury. Having experiences with transport/communication tools especially with banks in a plus. The beginning of the assignment will probably involve a learning period to understand the tools we use our ecosystem and the constraints/needs of our users. We are a small team where team members must be able to cover for one another. Sharing/documenting is key.

Main Responsibilities:
- Bank communication tool:
Configure / maintain business objects within the tool (entity / banks / services)
Implement/test new flows with existing or new bank partners
Configure an anti-fraud module (white list/black list/OFAC)
Implement validation workflows
Troubleshoot issues (internally / with other systems)

- Treasury tool:
Configure / maintain business objects within the tool (entity / banks / dictionaries)
Implement / test new payment file format
Implement / test new exports of data
Troubleshoot issues (internally / with other systems)

- Guarantee tool:
- Implement / test / maintain API calls to push / update / collect data to/from a SAAS application
- Support the other teams who need to create interfaces with the SAAS application
- Bank Connectivity Configuration:
- Set up new connections with banks, including host-to-host integrations, new payment methods, and management of new bank accounts.
- Documentation and Knowledge Transfer:
- Develop comprehensive documentation and facilitate knowledge transfer sessions for Level 1 (L1) and Level 2 (L2) support teams as well as among the Team.
- Task Card Development:
- Create detailed task cards to guide the support teams in handling routine and complex tasks effectively.
Qualifications:
- Development / coding (backend systems of web applications / tomcat / IIS).
- Database management.
- Experience with APIs.
- Experience with Windows administration tools (regedit, mmc, certificate management, services).

Preferred Skills:
- Scripting skills: Windows batch, Powershell, VB script, javascript, SQL.
- Coding skills: Java, Hibernate.
- Server administration: Windows, IIS, Tomcat.
- Knowledge in accounting / finance / treasury is a strong plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to details.
- By the book profile: internal control / audit requirements.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams across time zones.
- Be service oriented with the ability to listen and understand where the other person is coming from.
