JOB : Junior Design Engineer

LOCATION : Newport

TERM: Permanent

SALARY : GBP 25,000: GBP 35,000, dependent on experience

My client designs and manufactures products for the Automotive Sector. They are looking for Graduate/Junior Design Engineers to join their team in Newport on a permanent basis.

The Junior/Graduate Design Engineers will ideally have the following attributes:

: Experience within an Apprenticeship/Junior Design role/Degree qualified in Engineering or similar

: A sound understanding of Engineering processes and materials

: Ideally experienced working with a range of manufacturing processes

: Experience using 2D and 3D CAD Softwares

: Hands:on technical experience through your course

: Able to work to specific requirements and deadlines

: Excellent attention to detail

: Organised with excellent communication and teamwork skills

The Junior/Graduate Design Engineer Roles Will Involve

: Working to project specifications and deadlines

: Documenting activities and analytics to set standards

: Participating in technical training

: Working to budgets and timescales

: Investigating new solutions and areas within which the company can expand

: Being involved in different manufacturing processes

: Ensuring projects are delivered correctly and efficiently
