Main duties & responsibilities

To carry out commissioning on all Dextra lighting control systems.
To travel to sites using company transport or public transport when required.
To survey sites and carry out checks prior to commissioning when required.
Identify faults and rectify luminaire wiring where necessary and work with a problem solving approach.
Liaise with other technical departments and report issues to Technical Services.
Report details of each commissioning project and share this with internal technical departments on a regular basis.
Investigate and report lighting control faults to the internal technical department and assist with rectification where necessary.
Follow all Quality Control guidelines set by the Company.
Follow the requirements of the Companys ISO Procedure.
Follow the Companys Health and Safety Policy, work instructions & safe systems of work.

Post Requirements

Professional, flexible and a pleasant personality whilst representing Dextra on sites.
A degree of electrical competency is required.
Clean UK driving licence.
Able to work under pressure and on own initiative.
Strong and assertive character.
Good understanding of IT systems.
Computer literate.
Ability to write clear and concise post visit reports.
Willing to travel and occasionally stay in overnight accommodation.
CSCS/ECS card holder.
Ability to read and interpret technical guides/drawings.
DBS Barring check.
