A leading private equity fund specialising in dynamic mid-market investments is seeking a seasoned Interim Risk Manager to support our operations during a transitional period. Based in London, we invest across a range of industries, driving innovation and growth while ensuring robust risk management frameworks are in place.

This is a contract role for 12 months and is paying a competitive daily rate.

Role Overview: As the Interim Risk Manager, you will be instrumental in strengthening the fund’s risk management infrastructure, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and safeguarding investment processes. This high-impact role is pivotal to maintaining operational excellence, providing immediate oversight, and delivering actionable solutions to mitigate risks.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and enhance risk management frameworks across the fund’s investment lifecycle.
Conduct comprehensive risk assessments of portfolio companies and potential investments.
Ensure compliance with FCA regulations and other relevant standards.
Monitor and report on emerging risks, providing data-driven insights to senior stakeholders.
Implement controls to manage operational, financial, and reputational risks effectively.
Act as a liaison with external auditors, regulators, and advisors.
