Banking institution in Belgium is seeking a Freelance Java Developer to join its Channels and Customer Experience team. This is a high-visibility role where you'll contribute to the core banking applications that shape customer interactions across web and mobile platforms.

Logistical Information:

Start Date: ASAP
Location: Belgium (Hybrid – 2 days on-site)
Duration: 12 Months
Day Rate: Negotiable
Languages: English AND French OR Dutch

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain secure, high-performance banking applications using Java & Spring
Build and optimize RESTful APIs and integrate with external data sources
Work on both backend (Java, Spring) and frontend (mobile applications)
Ensure code quality through best practices like TDD, Clean Code, and SOLID principles
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
Manage CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and automation testing

Tech Stack:

Java | Spring | Maven | REST APIs | Git | Jenkins | SonarQube | Docker | CI/CD
Recent experience in the banking sector and Agile environments is highly preferred.
