On behalf of our client, a leading mid-cap private equity firm, we are seeking a highly driven and experienced Investment Manager to join their Opportunities Team, with a primary focus on the healthcare sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in private equity, M&A execution, and investment strategy, with a proven track record of leading transactions and driving value creation. This is a unique opportunity to take a leadership role in high-profile investments within a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the execution of M&A transactions, including financial modeling, due diligence, and deal structuring within healthcare sector in UK and Europe.
Identify and evaluate investment opportunities through in-depth industry and company analysis.
Oversee the preparation of investment memoranda, presentations, and strategic recommendations for internal and external stakeholders.
Drive transaction strategies, negotiating deal terms and collaborating with senior leadership to optimize investment outcomes.
Manage relationships with portfolio companies, advisors, and industry stakeholders to support value creation initiatives.
Stay ahead of market trends, industry dynamics, and regulatory developments within the healthcare sector to inform investment decisions.

Candidate Requirements:

5+ years of experience in private equity, M&A, or investment banking, ideally with a top-tier firm with focus on healthcare or life science.
Strong academic background Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
Proven track record of executing transactions and driving investment performance.
Advanced financial modeling, valuation, and deal structuring expertise.
Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent analytical capabilities with a strategic mindset and attention to detail.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
