We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused IT Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide technical support to end users, resolve hardware and software issues, and help maintain the overall IT infrastructure. You’ll be the first point of contact for all IT-related queries and play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues via phone, email, remote desktop, or in person.
Install, configure, and maintain hardware (desktops, laptops, printers) and software (OS, applications).
Set up and manage user accounts, permissions, and access in Active Directory, Microsoft 365, etc
Maintain IT inventory and asset tracking.
Support and maintain networks, printers, and other peripheral devices.
Escalate complex issues to higher-level IT staff when necessary.
Assist in onboarding/offboarding employees by preparing equipment and access.
Document technical issues and solutions in a knowledge base.
Ensure security practices are followed and report any potential breaches.

Requirements:

Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist, Help Desk Technician, or similar role.
Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Mac operating systems.
Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and hardware.
Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, ServiceNow).
Basic understanding of cybersecurity best practices.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
