Freelance Opportunity: Java 21 Architect @ Leading Bank – Brussels

Ready to architect the future of banking?

We're closely partnered with a large bank in Brussels that is searching for a Java 21 guru who has extensive experience in microservices, software solutions and API designs within the financial services industry.

Your Mission?
Design sleek, secure, scalable Java 21 architectures
Lead development teams with technical mentorship on all things associated with the Java ecosystem
Shape next-gen financial platforms—no legacy systems to deal with
Extensive knowledge of Spring, Spring boot, Software Security principles, REST, Docker, Kubernetes and Microservices

Your Background?
Expert level in Java development and software architecture with proven experience in installing products using Java 21
Experience in banking/ financial systems
Provide Vision, leadership and have the ability to mentor improvements on unclean code

Your contract?
Until the end of the year + Extensions
2 days a week onsite in Brussels with 3 days remote working
€700 - €800
