Data Centre Mechanical Operations Engineer
Onsite - London – 6 months

We’re looking for two Electrical Maintenance / Data Centre Engineers with experience with hardware, racks, servers and HVAC. The successful engineers will join the Infrastructure Services team of a Global Big 4 client in London. The role will be to maintain and operate the electrical, Mechanical and safety equipment within the Data Centre. Working with HVAC, PM’s Racks, Servers, PDU including installation, maintenance and troubleshooting.

Key Skills / Experience:
Operate, maintain and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment
Perform root cause analysis of equipment failures
Perform limited maintenance tasks:
Filter changes, HVAC PMs, rack power installs, rack PDU, and rack ATS replacements
Provide support for Data Centre Operations technicians
Take daily operational readings of mechanical and electrical equipment (temperatures, voltages, currents, etc.)
Utilise internal CMMS to manage building workflows and spare part inventory

The role will be an onsite position due to the nature of the work and will involve some shift work and travel between sites. This will be an initial 6 month contract but is likely to extend if performance meets the business needs.
