Job Description

For our customer based in the Brussels area in the automobile sector, we're looking for a software architect who will focuses on defining and maintaining a software framework designed for high-performance computing in modern and future vehicles. This platform supports complex applications, such as autonomous driving, connected vehicle services, and over-the-air.

You will be also required to develop and standardize software interfaces that enable seamless communication between various automotive applications and the underlying platform. These interfaces ensure modularity, reusability, and compatibility across different vehicle architectures and suppliers.

Job Description & Responsibilities

Support the Working Group on Adaptive Platform Architecture and Application Interfaces in regular activities such as shaping new standards and concepts, maintaining current standards, discussing changes, and ensuring backward compatibility.
Prioritize contributions to new standards based on internal strategies.
Regularly summarize and report activities and industry trends within the company.
Support internal projects based on gathered expertise.

Profile / Requirements

Required profil :

Service-Oriented Architecture : SOMEIP, DDS, IPC, ROS2, etc.

Software Development Toolchain Experience
Container Technology
Embedded Hardware/Software: Real-time microcontrollers and SoCs

Classic Platform Architecture & Methodology

AUTOSAR Classic Platform BSW implementations and toolchains from different vendors (e.g., Vector, Elektrobit)

Next-Generation Platform & Software Technologies
