Title: Senior Cloud Engineer - Azure - Tenant-to-Tenant Migration Expert
Day Rate: £600 -£750pd (Outside IR35)
Duration: 6 Months
Based: Hybrid/London (1 day a week)

We're seeking an experienced Senior Azure Technical Engineer to support a large-scale Azure tenant-to-tenant migration project, following a corporate restructuring. Experience with Azure tenant-to-tenant application migration is essential - this role is centred around planning and executing complex cloud migrations with minimal disruption to production workloads.
What You'll Do:

Lead the assessment and planning phases of Azure app migrations across tenants
Define and implement strategies for data and application migration at scale
Ensure continuity and productivity of all production applications post-migration
Collaborate with identity, networking, and security teams to align efforts
Provide expert input into cloud architecture, automation, and phased rollout approaches

What You Bring:

Proven experience with Azure tenant-to-tenant migrations (not just theoretical knowledge) (ESSENTIAL)
Expertise in Azure Migrate, ARM templates, scripting, and automation tools
Deep understanding of Azure services including compute, storage, networking, and databases
Strong experience in application migration strategies (Rehost, Refactor, etc.)
Ability to troubleshoot and collaborate with cross-functional teams effectively

Nice to Have:
Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer)
Experience working in large enterprise or post-acquisition restructuring environments. Experience with M&A or Divestments
