We're Hiring: Senior Business Analyst – MiFID II Product Governance (Markets)
Location: Belfast
Department: Program Execution & Transformation
Project: MiFID II Product Governance – Enhancements for Markets

We're looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join an investment bank’s Program Execution & Transformation team, playing a key role in enhancing MiFID II Product Governance processes across the full product lifecycle within Markets.

This high-visibility role will support the delivery of regulatory-driven enhancements through updates to policies, procedures, systems, controls, governance, and reporting frameworks.

Rate: £560/day, initial 6 month contract

What You’ll Be Doing:
Interpreting MiFID II regulatory requirements and gathering input from legal, compliance, and business teams
Performing gap analyses to assess current-state vs. future-state solutions
Recommending and documenting practical, compliant solution options
Enhancing BAU processes, control environments, governance, and reporting
Drafting and updating relevant policies and procedures
Conducting data analysis to support evidence-based decisions
Supporting project delivery in line with PMO standards
Assisting with tracking deliverables and preparing governance materials
Helping facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), where needed

What We’re Looking For:
Strong regulatory business analysis experience, ideally within Capital Markets
Deep understanding of MiFID II Product Governance
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience in policy, control, and systems change projects
Ability to work independently while supporting project delivery at pace
