Role Title: Teaching Assistant (Maths Graduate)

Daily Rate: £90–£100

Start Date: September 2025 (Onboarding begins May 2025)

Contract: Long-term

A supportive primary school in Oldham (OL9 postcode) is looking for a Teaching Assistant with a Maths degree to work across Key Stage 2, with a focus on numeracy support. The school, rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, has a strong emphasis on raising attainment in core subjects and provides targeted intervention programmes. You will support small groups of pupils with number fluency, reasoning, and arithmetic, as well as assisting in the classroom.

Reason For The Role

This position is required due to an unfilled vacancy, and the school is seeking long-term support while they recruit permanently.

Requirements

A degree in Maths
Confidence supporting children with numeracy skills
Strong communication and collaboration abilities
