Founding Engineer – We are working with an amazing AI start-up who have raised $2.5m in pre-seed funding from two of Silicon Valley’s premier Seed VCs and some very impressive Angel investors. As Founding Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the product and the company. They’re at the very beginning of an exciting journey, with a huge opportunity to revolutionise an industry prime for technical innovation. This role gives you the unique chance to create something from the ground up while they work towards finding product-market fit.

They’re looking for an ambitious Founding Engineer who’s ready to dive in from day one. This is a fast-paced, high-impact position where you’ll be wearing multiple hats as they build and scale their product.

Tech Stack: Typescript/React, Python on AWS

What Will The Founding Engineer Do:
Rapidly build and test new ideas to gather user feedback.
Write both client and server-side code for web applications.
Convert user pain points and feedback into actionable product roadmaps.
Help define and shape our engineering culture and team as we grow.

About You:
Front-End Expertise: Experience with modern client-side languages and frameworks (e.g., Typescript, React).
Back-End Knowledge: Comfortable with back-end development using modern server-side languages (e.g., Typescript or Python).
Design Enthusiast: You have a passion for creating products that balance functionality with beautiful design.
AI Applications: Experience building enterprise AI applications across the development stack.
Start-up-Ready: You thrive in a dynamic environment with constantly evolving priorities.
Proactive: You act with high agency, taking initiative and ownership of your work from day one.
