KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Dispatch and coordination:
Plan and track the daily rounds of drivers taking into account the volumes, distances, time constraints and transport regulations
Monitor the progress of deliveries through to the final destination
Ensure meticulous coding of assignments in the IT system (TMS/ERP)
Take receipt of and check transportation documents forwarded by drivers
Collaboration and communication:
Be the operational point of contact for drivers for any questions relating to the round
Transmit clear and accurate information to the drivers regarding their schedule and specific instructions
Maintain smooth cooperation between the internal teams (warehouse, dock, transportation, customer service) and external partners
Actively participate in the communication with clients in the event of any queries or incidents
Monitor performance and continuous improvement:
Contribute to performance indicator tracking (service, performance and profitability rates, etc.)
Identify the areas for improvement
Report any anomalies observed on the ground
QUALIFICATIONS :
Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain or an equivalent field.
Initial work experience (internship, student job) in logistics or transportation is an advantage but not necessary.
Proficiency in French with a sound foundation in English and Dutch
Meticulous, organised, able to prioritise and work well under pressure.
Good interpersonal skills and a good team player.
Good command of IT tools.
