Due to business needs, only candidates who are immediately available can be considered for this position.

Robert Half are partnering with a rapidly growing provider of integrated online media and technology solutions to major corporate customers. As the business continues its global expansion, it is investing in strengthening its finance capabilities and establishing a best-in-class control environment to support its next phase of growth.

This newly created Financial Controller role will take ownership of the group consolidation process and play a pivotal part in enhancing financial reporting, controls, and efficiency across a growing international group. It's an opportunity for a technically strong finance professional who enjoys improving systems and building processes from the ground up.

About the Position

Reporting to the Finance Director, you'll be responsible for:

* Leading the monthly group consolidation process across 15+ international entities, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with UK GAAP and FRS 101.

* Improving and streamlining consolidation procedures, including foreign currency revaluations, intercompany eliminations, and balance sheet reconciliations.

* Designing and implementing robust financial controls and enhanced reporting frameworks to strengthen governance and insight.

* Overseeing regional and consolidated financial reporting, ensuring timeliness and integrity of results.

* Driving improvements in revenue recognition, deferrals, and accruals across both transaction-based and SaaS income streams.

* Defining accounting treatments for new commercial initiatives such as rebates, factoring, and incentive schemes.

* Establishing processes for capitalisation of development costs and quarterly commission calculations.

* Ensuring global compliance with audit, tax, and statutory requirements, including oversight of outsourced providers.

* Reviewing and refining the chart of accounts and reporting structures to support greater clarity and scalability.

* Supporting finance transformation, automation, and systems improvement projects to drive efficiency and accuracy.

What We're Looking For

* Fully qualified accountant (ideally ACA) with 5+ years' PQE.

* A minimum of 2 years' experience in a Group or Financial Controller role within a fast-growing, multi-entity, and ideally international organisation.

* Proven track record of leading and improving monthly consolidation processes.

* Strong technical accounting knowledge, with experience preparing consolidated financial statements under UK GAAP / FRS 101.

* Experience implementing new processes, controls, and reporting improvements in a scaling business.

* Highly analytical and detail-focused, with strong problem-solving skills.

* Comfortable working in complex, fast-moving environments with multiple stakeholders.

* Excellent communicator, able to engage confidently across finance and non-finance teams.

Here's What's Waiting for You

* Hybrid working - 3 days per week in the Central London office.

* A newly created role offering full ownership of the group consolidation and reporting framework.

* The chance to design and implement financial processes from the ground up, making a lasting operational impact.

* Exposure to senior leadership and decision-makers across a growing international group.

* A collaborative, ambitious environment that values initiative, autonomy, and innovation.

* Opportunity to lead a small, capable team and develop their professional growth.

* Direct involvement in finance transformation and systems improvement projects.

* Strong long-term career progression within a scaling global organisation that rewards contribution and impact.

Why This Role Could Be Your Next Move

This is a standout opportunity to take ownership of a newly created Financial Controller position at a critical stage of growth. You'll build and refine the group consolidation process, strengthen financial control, and drive efficiency across an expanding global structure.

If you're a technically skilled finance professional with a passion for improvement, structure, and delivering real impact -- this role offers the perfect blend of challenge, autonomy, and progression.
