Candidates can be geographically located anywhere in the United States, preferably near an ePlus office**
As the Director of Cloud Services, you will lead and grow the ePlus Cloud Services organization working in tandem with the Sales and Services leaders across all regions. As a key member of the Cloud Services Management team, you will contribute and support growth of the Cloud organization, ensuring that it maintains expertise in all presales and delivery aspects related to ePlus cloud services focus areas. This includes diagnosing customer challenges, establishing requirements, creating level of effort and statements of work, delivering professional services, and achieving high levels of customer satisfaction. You will work closely with the Vice President of AI, Cloud, and Data Center Strategy to grow and manage all financial aspects of the Cloud services business. Working with the regional Services Leaders, you will collaborate to drive total customer satisfaction, services business enhancements and growth.
This position requires a dynamic, hard-working and ambitious individual, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Individuals will also possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills and have experience managing and growing a professional services consulting practice.
YOUR IMPACT
The essential functions (responsibilities) of this position include:
Strategic Leadership
Manage services team which includes Presales Engineers, Delivery Engineers, and Project Managers (in conjunction with National PMO Director and service coordinators)
Manage Professional Services for the Cloud Business
Work with key partners such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft to drive opportunities
Drive Service and product revenue by participating in sales meetings with customers
Collaborate with the Strategy team and Technology Leadership Councils to evaluate new offerings to meeting evolving customer demands
Drive local and corporate best practices throughout the regional team to ensure consistent, high quality and repeatable solutions
Evangelize ePlus Cloud Services offerings across the Regional teams, leveraging a consistent message and method for planning and delivery
Operational Management
Work with the VP of AI, Cloud, and Data Center to participate in the annual planning and budget process as it relates to planning, goal attainment, expense management, and revenue recognition
Manage budgets and P&L for the Cloud business
Track and forecast financial targets and provide reporting and submission of financial data to support corporate actions
Ensure quality delivery of service engagements through methodology and management of resources both internal and third party
Track, measure, and meet sales and services targets
Track and manage customer satisfaction, including addressing areas of concern
Lead and/or contribute to the revisions of presentation materials for both Corporate and Regional specific documents
Manage the coordination of activities for the geographic region with regional responsibility for oversight in terms of costs, methods and staffing
Work with Service Directors to ensure appropriate presales and delivery bandwidth and skills available to meet pipeline and backlog demand
Support all escalations for Cloud services
Adhere to corporate policies and procedures
Handle confidential matters and information professionally
Conduct business in a professional, competent and ethical manner
People Leadership
Provide leadership and direction to Presales and Delivery Engineers
Collaboration with team members via weekly, monthly and quarterly meetings as appropriate
Create an maintain a development and growth plan for each member of the team to facilitate personal and professional growth
Mentor talent and foster a culture of motivation, technical excellence, and continuous learning
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in a technical or business discipline is preferred
5+ years of experience in a field-based cloud services management position, overseeing a team of more than ten staff members.
10+ years of people management experience preferred
Proven experience in managing and enhancing a world-class field services organization, as well as growing a Professional Services Consulting practice
Experience in operations and project management
Broad exposure to a variety of technologies/concepts and management experience in a distributed environment
Comprehensive experience in the strategy, process and methodology for business enablement and transformation through technology
Extensive working understanding of AWS and Microsoft technologies and partner programs
Experience with customer requirements that span both professional and managed services delivery methodologies
Experience leveraging partner funding programs to maximize incentives for ePlus and our customers
Demonstrated ability to manage the financial elements that make up the Region
