£65,000 – 70,000 + benefits

Grafton Banks Finance is working with a growing international SME business, based in Crawley, to recruit a new Finance Manager role.

Reporting to the CFO this role will lead a small team responsible for finance operations, month end accounting, and financial reporting.

We are looking for a qualified accountant who is skilled in management accounting and financial reporting, is experienced managing small teams, and has worked in hands on roles in SME businesses.

Key tasks:

Manage the month end process for the group and several of its international entities including the preparation of month end management accounts and reporting.
Oversee the preparation of accurate financial statements in compliance with UK standards.
Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, both internally and externally.
Perform general ledger entries and month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings and reconciliations.
Responsible for VAT returns.
Oversee cash flow management and financial risk hedging.
Supervise Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions.

Salary for this role is up to £70,000 + benefits including bonus. The role is 4 days per week in the offices and 1 day per week from home.

Our client is looking for someone to start at the beginning of January 2026. Therefore, we can only consider candidates available at a months’ notice or less at this stage.
