Job Description: DevOps Engineer

Summary:

The primary function of a DevOps Engineer is to develop, configure, and manage application servers, as well as the software that runs on those servers. 

Job Responsibilities:

Analyze and maintain system performance.
Ensure efficient resource usage.
Collaborate with developers to oversee code releases, create and implement software systems, and analyze data to improve existing systems.
Ensure that systems are secure against cybersecurity threats.
Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance. 

Skills:

Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities.
Familiarity with software engineering principles.
Familiarity with languages such as Ruby or Python.
Knowledge of databases and SQL. 

Education/Experience:

Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or another technical field.
Experience: 2–4 years of relevant experience.
