Pay range: $25/hr - $26/hr
Schedule: Either 8 am-4 pm or 9 am-5 pm Central Time
Job Overview:
We are seeking a meticulous and efficient Quality Control & Payment Processing Specialist to join our operations team. In this essential, process-driven role, you will be responsible for reviewing and validating tax payment requests to ensure absolute accuracy before they are advanced to the next stage. Your primary focus will be on precision and timely processing within a structured workflow.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform detailed quality checks on tax payment and money movement requests submitted by front-office trust teams on behalf of clients.
Review submissions for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to established procedures.
Efficiently process validated requests, moving them forward in the operational pipeline.
Partner internally with team members, front-office trust officers, and administrators via digital communication tools (e.g., chat, occasional calls/meetings) to clarify or resolve issues. Please note, this role does not involve direct client interaction.
Maintain a high volume of processed instances while prioritizing accuracy as the critical success factor.
This is a 100% processing-focused role within a structured operational environment.
Performance Objectives:
Maintain exceptional accuracy and attention to detail in all reviews.
Achieve a target processing volume of over 75 instances per day.
Demonstrate a consistent sense of urgency and adherence to process timelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Proven ability to learn new processes and systems quickly.
Strong sense of urgency and ability to pivot between tasks efficiently.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong written communication skills for effective internal collaboration.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
1+ year of experience in payment processing, financial operations, or a similar high-accuracy processing role (not required).
Experience with the SEI trust platform or similar financial services applications.
Basic knowledge of federal tax forms (e.g., 1040, 1041, 941).
Prior experience in a quality control or verification capacity within financial
services.
