Pacific International is partnering with an innovative leader in the Power Electronics space, with applications ranging from residential, commercial and industrial in the solar sector. This business is looking to scale its commercial operations in EMEA and is looking for someone with the right mix of commercial, leadership and P&L experience as their EMEA Sales Director.
In this role you will be defining and executing the regional sales strategy, driving revenue growth, and building a high functioning sales organisation across EMEA, with a focus on Europe. You will be working closely with the global leadership team to ensure sustainable growth and market competitiveness. As such, you will find the right balance between strategic leadership and customer interaction.
Responsibilities
Define and execute the EMEA commercial strategy, including go-to-market model, channel structure, and value proposition
Drive revenue growth and market share expansion across key European markets
Identify and develop new strategic accounts, partners, and market opportunities
Lead and develop a regional organization including Sales Managers, Inside Sales, and Order Administration
Deliver sales targets across distributors, Tier-1 installers, and OEM customers
Own forecasting accuracy, pipeline management, and performance tracking
Negotiate commercial terms in line with global pricing and governance policies
Ensure disciplined order intake and payment follow-up
Build and maintain senior-level relationships with key customers and partners
Maintain strong market presence through regular customer and country visits
Requirements
10+ years of B2B sales experience, including senior regional or international leadership roles
Proven track record managing multi-country sales organizations in complex, channel-driven environments
Experience in solar PV, energy storage, MLPE, power electronics, or adjacent high-tech sectors strongly preferred
Location: Lyon, France or Amsterdam, Netherlands strongly preferred
Competencies
Entrepreneurial mindset; comfortable operating with autonomy and accountability
Strong people leader with experience building, coaching, and retaining high-performing teams
Excellent negotiation, communication, and executive presentation skills
Must be fluent in English, additional language strongly preferred
Willingness and ability to travel across the entire EMEA region
