Hays Software Engineering are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with Cyber Cloud Deployment experience to join an internationally renowned Investment Management firm with over 5 trillion AUM.
What you will be doing:
Enhance Cybersecurity Services - Strengthen cloud-based security across all layers, from databases to CDNs.
Secure Authentication - Implement multifactor authentication (MFA), Passkeys, and other security measures.
Identity Provider Integration - Connect with services like Auth0, Transmit Security, and Ping Identity.
Account Protection - Develop solutions to detect and prevent unauthorised access attempts.
Cloud Optimisation - Boost efficiency and resilience across cloud infrastructure.
Technical Advancement - Continuously improve standards, tools, and processes.
Business Alignment - Work with the Product Owner to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Deployment Management - Oversee development, testing, and production operations.

What we are looking for:
Cloud Expertise - Skilled in cloud computing and infrastructure provisioning, especially with AWS and tools like CloudFormation, CDK, and Terraform.
Web Services Development - Proficient in TypeScript and JavaScript, using Node.js to build and consume web services; experience with NestJS and microservices is a plus.
API & Security Knowledge - Strong grasp of REST APIs and cloud security principles, including IAM, networking, and encryption.
Effective Communication - Capable of translating technical concepts for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Agile Methodologies - Familiar with agile development, with preferred experience in the Scrum framework.
